The Beach

Chester, my officemate, lent me a copy of the movie, The Beach. Here's the lines that stuck: (they don't come in order, btw)

• Paradise, is not someplace you can look for. It's not where you go, it's how you feel for a moment in your life when you're a part of something.. and if you find that moment, it lasts forever.
• Love, like grief tends to fade away.
• Get better or die.
  
• Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. If it hurts, it's probably worth it.
• We all travel thousands of miles just to...check into somewhere with all the comforts of home. You gotta ask yourself, 'what is the point of that?'
• You hope and you dream but you never believe that something's gonna happen for you. When it actually does, you want it to feel different, more visceral, more real.
• Some people try doing something different but always end up doing the same thing.
• When you develop an infatuation for someone,you always find the reason to believe that this is exactly the person for you. It doesnt need to be a good reason. in the long run, that's the habit that would cause you to split up but in the haze of infatuation, its just what you've been searching for all these years.
